This course discusses model of literature teaching, literary appreciation by applying reader response strategy and visual symbol response, appreciative activities in literature learning process, the role of literature in English Foreign Language (EFL) classroom and or literature in language learning (cultural enrichment, language, and personal involvement),  literature and creative industry, literature across curriculum, literature and character building (literature for all), and extensive reading on children, young adult, and adult literature works in order that the students are interested in conducting research on the topics. This course also provides the students with such activities: workshop, book review, article review, and drama performance.
