This course elaborates the principles, theories, procedures, criteria, selection, and model of material teaching development in language and literature learning to establish students’ character. Besides, the students are expected to be able to practice applying the concepts so that products of instructional material-based character and technology can be made through workshops. The learners are also expected to evaluate the previous textbooks, to review articles in journals as well as books, to write research-based papers, and to produce learning materials and or textbook drafts.
